From Andrew Lloyd Weber's ill-fated Musical adaption
Carcosa! is a musical with a book and lyrics by Don Black and Christopher Hampton, with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber.[1] the musical made its West End and world premiere at London's Aldwych Theatre in 2016.  The musical closed after three performances.

ARISA'S SONG

Seven Princes woo my Lady, but she swears that she'll have none,
Of the lordy folk who prattle, of their jewelled rings and throne,
Not the lordling, nor the shepherd,
Not the priest, and not the thief,
Not the ghoul below the grave stone,
None above, and none beneath,
Only in the lost Carcosa
Dwells the one whose heart she'd ask
Hush, for blasphemy she's talking,
Who wooes 'neath the Pallid Mask?

Ia! Carcosa
Ia! Carcosa
Lord of Art,
Muse of the Dead.

Yours the corpse light
Yours the sigil
Yours the yellow sign, 'tis said.

Not since first the sons of Adam
And the daughters of fair Eve,
Walked the earth,
Has one been courted,
By the one who's dressed to grieve
In the mourner's yellow tatters
Wrapped around His ebon sleeve.
When the rain has soaked the vinyard,
When the sparrow dies with dread.

Ia! Carcosa
Ia! Carcosa
Lord of Art,
Muse of the Dead.

Yours the corpse light
Yours the sigil
Yours the yellow sign, 'tis said.
